Entries: Hy-Tek Team Manager Software will be
used for the entries (for your use the Meet
Events file will be forthcoming by email from the Entry Chair). All times must be completed to the hundredth
of a second. Each swimmer is limited to two (2) individual events and two (2)
relays or one (1) individual event and three (3) relays. Each school is limited to four (4) individuals
per event. Diving counts as one (1)
event. Each school may enter two (2)
relays per event. Coaches need to submit their entries for their relays as part of their
Hy-Tek file. Relay changes can be
made at the computer desk until 12:30 PM.
A scratch sheet will be available at the computer table and all
scratches should be made before the coaches’ meeting starts.
Diving: Diving will
consist of six (6) dives. The required dive is from the “Twisting” dive category with a maximum
degree of difficulty of 1.8. Diving sheets must be submitted by email to John Mihevic at mihevijp@muohio.edu
by 5:00 PM Monday January 23rd. Diving sheets should be submitted
electronically via http://www.edive.info/. Directions on how to do this are attached at
the end of this packet. On the morning
of the meet, all divers should submit their dive sheets no later than 9:15 AM
with both their signature and the coach’s signature. At that time the officials will be begin
their cross-check of the diving forms. Diving entries will need to be submitted
to the meet Entry Chair with the swimming entries by 4:00 p.m. Saturday January
21, 2012 as a part of the Hytek file.
This will allow us to create the diving order prior to the
meet.
Deadlines: Entries must be e-mailed to the Entry
Chair no later than 4:00 p.m. on Saturday January 21, 2012. When you send in your entries to the Entry
Chair, you will receive an entry report within 48 hours of the time your Hy-Tek
file has been received. If you do not receive an entry report,
assume that for whatever reason, your Hy-Tek file has not been received and
contact the Entry Chair immediately.
All team corrections are due to
the Entry Chair before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 24, 2012.
Once
all entries have been received, a psych sheet will be created and posted on the
swimmeet.com web site and a copy of the psych sheet will be e-mailed to the
individual that submitted the team entry information. This psych sheet will not be posted to the
web site nor e-mailed to the teams until all entries have been received. The psych sheet will not be posted before
5:00 PM on Tuesday January 24, 2012 to allow all coaches to review their entry
report and make any changes. Once the
psych sheet is posted on the swimmeet.com website, no additional changes will be accepted to the individual entries.
Scoring: Each
event will be scored through twelve (12) places. The scoring system is as follows: 16, 13,12,11,10, 9, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. For relays the
point total for each place doubles. The
meet will be scored using three (2) divisions: East and West.
Divisions: East: Anderson, Glen Este, Kings, Little Miami, Loveland,
Milford, Turpin, Walnut Hills, Wilmington
West: Edgewood, Harrison, Mt. Healthy, Northwest, Norwood, Ross, Talawanda,
Winton Woods
Seeding: All
swimmers will be seeded according to entry times regardless of the division in
which they are competing. Both divisions
will be seeded together. A ten minute
break will be scheduled after the 50 Freestyle.
Other breaks may be added if requested at the coach’s meeting.
Timers: Each team is required to provide one
timer to work this meet. Each team is
responsible for providing a relief person for their timer. Timers should report to the head timer for
their lane assignments by 1:00 PM in the hallway downstairs immediately outside the pool complex.

Concessions: No outside food is allowed in the Rec Center. Concessions will be provided by Miami.
Parking Parking is available near the Rec Center at meters on
the street or in the parking garage.

check which ones will be the voluntaries.

until all your divers for that school are entered.
13. Then hit the “send my
dive list” button.
14. If you coach more than
one school, send each school separately.
15. John will send you an
email back letting you know that he has received your school’s entries. This does not mean that they are all
correct. He will check them and you can
make changes when you arrive at the site.
16. If you need to make
changes before the event please don’t resend the form
just email John the changes.
