AHS Swim/Dive Parents
and Swimmers,
I will be taking
pictures again this
season (practices and
meets). In past years I
have taken several
hundred, make that
closer to
1000 pictures. The
website now allows me to
streamline the process
of getting pictures to
the swimmers and
parents. I have attached
one of the many photos
taken yesterday.
I make every effort to
have multiple photos of
each athlete. Toward the
end of the season
Seniors will have an
opportunity to select
their favorite shot to
be "posterized" for
awards night (the swim
moms have the fee for
ordering Senior posters
already accounted for in
your fees)!

It's a fairly
user-friendly site;
however, if you get
stuck, feel free to call
or email me. If you
scroll through the
public events you will
notice those titled AHS
Swim...date/practice/meet,
etc. I did not get a
chance to get any dive
pictures yesterday, but
I will. This year,
those photos will be
less challenging because
the lighting is SO much

You can order photos if
you like through the
site, available at Cord
camera (next door to
Panera) for pickup at
your convenience. They
do a tremendous job
processing prints!
I suggest ordering
prints in matte because
the finish masks
fingerprints. I prefer
the white border as well
because it sets off the
image and makes it pop
off the page. As you
will see when you go to
order there are several
print options in
whichever size you
choose.
I don't suggest printing
anything larger than
8x10 from the files I
send to Cord. The
upload time is very
lengthy, so I choose to
upload only to suit up
to 8x10. When we make
the posters or if you
desire a larger size we
can work from the
original discs.
