What crazy weather! Keep pushing the vitamins and healthy food into
your athlete. They are all exhausted and EXAMS ARE COMING! Swimmers are
notoriously good scholars as well so I know they have all been preparing for a
while (HA!)
Here's my scoop for the week. Pasta dinner this
Friday at the Millman's home. Please check the
website (www.andersonswimming.org) for the
pasta sign up, under 'sign up'. There is one dinner in need of a host and
several in need of helpers. The kids LOVE these dinners and it is SO fun to see
them interact; a rare occasion in the world of teen parenting.
This week is another home meet and here are the workers, still need
2 more timers. Admissions: Wendy Bowling, Timers: Jodi Vigar,
Carol Bublitz, Teri Asbury, Pete Ward, Jill Springman, Chris Wolfer, Ann
Peterson, Greg and Teri Hicks, Chuck Blake; Back up timer: Rita Blake.
Admissions should arrive at 12:30 and timers should arrive by 12:45.
Senior parents should have received a school mailing for
recognition night.We will also have our own senior
recognition before the Turpin meet. It will be January 29th and begin BEFORE 5
pm. Senior parents, if at all possible start finagling
your schedule to be there. Anyone interested in helping with the senior night
PLEASE email Rita.
South West Classics will be the weekend of January 19th and 20th. It
is a huge swim meet and we will be responsible for supplying some timers. I
think it is 4 each morning(divided shifts) and 2 each
evening. As always, email ritalb@cinci.rr.com
if you can time.
